Conventum brings together everything from beloved comedians to internationally acclaimed musicals. Here, you can join a crowd of 6,000 and dance to your favorite artist at Conventum Arena, laugh out loud at acclaimed comedy shows at the Hjalmar Bergman Theater, or attend clog festivals and whiskey fairs at Conventum Kongress.

Conventum consists of several buildings—ranging from Q-listed 1960s landmarks to state-of-the-art multi-purpose arenas.Hereis an overview of the various facilities.

Conventum Arena

Örebro’s largest indoor venue—and the flagship venue for major concerts. Conventum Arena is a state-of-the-art multi-purpose arena spanning 4,800 square meters with a ceiling height of 15 meters. In addition to accommodating an audience of 6,000 for major entertainment events, the venue is also booked for large conferences with up to 3,000 participants. The arena also features a 700-square-meter balcony where as many as 620 people can mingle.

Conventum Conference

Q-certified and award-winning for its 1960s architecture. Conventum Konferens currently comprises 21 meeting rooms that can accommodate anywhere from two to 585 participants. It is here, for example, that Club 700 is located—a favorite venue for both rock concerts and dinner shows.

Conventum Congress

One of Sweden’s most modern conference centers. Conventum Kongress has three floors—all featuring bright and spacious lobbies. In the Forum, you’ll find a 500-square-meter exhibition hall. The main conference hall can accommodate up to 2,400 people for concerts, but can quickly be converted into a banquet hall with a stage for corporate events, entertainment, and other shows.

The roof of Conventum Kongress, viewed from the outside. The roof is light in color, and the words "Conventum Kongress" are written on a wooden section. In the background, you can see a blue sky and a high-rise building.

Hjalmar Bergman Theater

Musicians, comedians, and live podcasters. The Hjalmar Bergman Theater isn’t just beautiful—it’s also home to plenty of fun entertainment. The auditorium looks like something out of a 1960s movie, with its classic red leather seats and grand curtain—the latter designed by none other than Olle Nyman. It’s no wonder the theater won the Kalle Salin Prize in 1967 for its architecture. Both the exterior and interior have been largely preserved in their original condition, which demonstrates the building’s high architectural quality.
