Here, you can experience the evolution of cinema. Watch both new and old films. The film lineup is constantly changing, so you can visit many times. If theater is more your thing, the beautiful Örebro Theater is right next to Järntorget. Like Roxy, the theater has a long history. Today, its mission is to provide performing arts to the entire Örebro County. The theater has several stages, and there’s always something creative happening here.

They’re open from early morning until late evening, so you can enjoy your visit for a long time. Weather permitting, there’s also a large terrace where you can enjoy your morning coffee or evening bubbly.

You can also find delicious pastries at Kabuls Hörn and City Sweet. Kabuls Hörn is a bakery that specializes in traditional Afghan pastries. Here, you can also buy piping-hot Persian flatbread, straight from the oven. City Sweet also makes delicious pastries, but focuses instead on traditional Middle Eastern baked goods.

Classics and creative works

Along Storgatan, you’ll find everything from the classic interior design store PK Design to the outdoor gear shop Outdoor Xtrem (their outlet is right next door). You’ll also find Världsbutiken, where you can shop for handicrafts from small-scale producers around the world. Don’t forget to stop by the retro and toy shop Pennybridge Collectibles. At Järntorget , you’ll find the record and movie store Bananamoon. The store sells everything from vinyl records to Blu-rays and CDs—both new and used. You can spend hours browsing here and discover many hidden gems. Right next door is Studio Myran, a ceramics studio where creativity takes center stage. Here you can buy unique ceramics and hand-picked designer furniture. And why not sign up for a pottery class? Just a stone’s throw from Järntorget, you’ll find Örebro’s oldest shoe repair shop—Skoservice 1912. For over a century, Örebro residents have been able to buy and repair shoes here. Right next door is Ploppsi, which focuses on video games, toys, and above all, nostalgia. Here you’ll also find Re:form, the shop that sells everything from tableware to clothing.
