Creative at Kulturkvarteret
During fall break, creativity takes center stage at Kulturkvarteret. Children’s Culture Night gets an early start on October 23, and the week will feature, among other things, performing arts, an open studio at Örebro Art Museum, and the Bubblan creative workshop at the City Library. Here, children and young people can explore their imagination through color, shape, and storytelling.
The Ghost Town in Örebro
The fall break will be extra spooky and cozy at five locations in Örebro. All week long, Karlslund, Wadköping, Slottsparken, the Natural History Museum, and Örebro Castle invite you to “Ghost Town in Örebro.” Expect spine-tingling events and exciting activities—for kids of all ages, and for adults, too.
Halloween in Vretstorp Park
On four Saturdays in October and November, Vretstorp Park is transformed into a spooky place with plenty of activities. Fortune-telling, a circus school, and a scary haunted house are just a few examples. There’s something for all ages. Once darkness has fallen over the park, the bravest visitors can also set out on a walk through the dark forest.
Fall Coziness in the Movie Theater
What would fall break be without a cozy time in front of the big screen? Both Bio Roxy and Filmstaden have fall break movie screenings on their schedules. There are movies for children and young people of all ages. From *Shaun the Sheep* and *Laban the Little Ghost* for the very youngest to thrillers and horror films for those who are old enough—and brave enough.
A restaurant show for the whole family
Bring the whole family to the Nassim Flippar Ur stage show during fall break. A show featuring music, skits, and plenty of humor. You can expect a surprise or two and a 100 percent laugh guarantee. On October 28, this popular show will be coming to Örebro and Club 700.
Zombie Run
Run for Your Lives is a fitness race that challenges you on multiple levels. Make your way through challenging obstacles while keeping an eye out for terrifying zombies. Or cheer on the runners from the sidelines. The race is guaranteed to get your heart pumping and have you laughing—whether you’re running or watching. Run for Your Lives takes place on October 24.
