If you’re on the hunt for real design treasures, start your secondhand shopping tour in Örebro by stopping by Kavalkad on Järntorget. Lamps, furniture, glassware—you name it. The store is a feast for the eyes and a goldmine for anyone looking to find unique items to spruce up their home.  

Ploppsi

Video games, toys, and movies—this is the secondhand store for anyone looking to take a trip down memory lane. If you played Nintendo 64 as a kid, you’ll love Ploppsi. The store is located at Gamla Gatan 8, right next to Järntorget.

The Circle

Cirkeln is a secondhand store located at Stortorget 17. The concept is that customers bring in used women’s and men’s clothing in good condition, which the store then resells. Drop off your old clothes and shop for “new” ones. Circular and convenient—a true win-win situation.

Banana Moon

Welcome to a paradise for LP, DVD, and CD lovers. Banana Moon is a music store on Järntorget where you can buy, trade, and sell your music collections.

LevelUp

In the mood for some video game nostalgia? Stop by theLevelUp store. Their thing is “re-gaming,” which involves buying and selling all kinds of gaming gear that’s no longer in use. That way, a new generation can enjoy the gear—or someone else gets the chance to relive their childhood. The store is located at Nygatan 19, right in the heart of Örebro.

Miss S

Just a short walk from downtown, you can visit Fröken S at Södermalmsallén 36. Here, the focus is on children: clothes, strollers, toys, and more. You can also shop here for women’s and maternity clothing in like-new condition.

Gadden Secondhand

Gadden Secondhand is located at Karlslundsgatan 7 in the Väster neighborhood of Örebro. The selection here is varied, and you can find everything from china to clothing and toys. Gadden also sells new items, including honey and beeswax products made in-house.

The Ants 

Myrorna has a store right in the heart of the city, at Drottninggatan 38, specializing in personalized, unique clothing and accessories with that special touch. The large Myrorna store is located in Västhaga, at Hagagatan 51. It spans 1,400 square meters and offers clothing, home decor, books, furniture, and more.

Red Cross  

If you’d like to browse the Red Cross stores, there are two to choose from in Örebro. One is located in the city center, at Rudbecksgatan 16, and offers a wide variety of items—though no furniture. You’ll find furniture instead at the large Red Cross store in Marieberg. In addition to furniture, you can browse textiles, accessories, china, and much more there. 

Give for Life 

The Ge för livet store is located in the Nasta industrial park and downtown. At the downtown store, you can shop sustainably for a selection of clothing, home goods, kitchenware, books, and textiles. Ge för livet in Nasta is a larger store that also offers toys, music, and tech gadgets. There’s also a café there serving popular shrimp sandwiches.

Re:form

Re:form Second Hand is located on Nejlikegatan in the Mellringe neighborhood and in Norrcity, at 17 Fredsgatan. The store in Mellringe has everything and then some: clothing, china, paintings, bicycles, furniture, and more. In Norrcity, you can find great deals on clothing, china, and much more.

Secondhand shops outside the city center

Rocking Retro 

Retrogalen? Rocking Retro is located in Wadköping, specifically at Cajsa Wargs gränd 3. Here you’ll find carefully curated home decor items, with a special focus on the ’50s, ’60s, and ’70s.

Erikshjälpen 

Just a stone's throw from the Myrornas store on Hagagatan isthe Erikshjälpen thrift store. There is plenty of parking available outside the store. It is regularly restocked with furniture, household goods, clothing, books, and other great finds. 

Englahaket

Englahaket, a gathering place that combines a thrift store and a café, is located at Engelbrektsgatan 25. Be sure to stop by for some bargain hunting and a coffee break!

Second stories

Second Stories is a pop-up store featuring vintage-style home decor and clothing. The store is located at Södra Allén 23 and is open by appointment only. Keep an eye on Second Stories’ social media channels for both information and inspiration.
