Music Nights Under the Open Sky
Experience lovely summer evenings at Under Bar Himmel. At Spelgården in Wadköping, nestled among the charming wooden neighborhoods, you’ll find the amphitheater where you can enjoy live music, stand-up comedy, food, and drinks. Under Bar Himmel kicks off on May 16 with the festival Inte lätt att leva. Then the music nights continue throughout the summer. Here you can see Division 7, Valter Nilsson, Amanda Jensen, Moonica Mac, and many more. And in August, both the Gin & Jazz Festival and the Country & Beer Festival await.
Live at Vinön's Inn
The ultimate summer experience—live music and dinner on an island, with a cool lake breeze at sunset. Yep, at the inn on Vinön , there will be live music all summer long. Summer on Vinön the concert concept that this year features everything from Larz-Kristerz and the Refreshments to Emil Assergård, Hästpojken, and Caroline Af Ugglas. How do you get out to the island? The Swedish Transport Administration operates a ferry from Hampetorp to Vinön(tip: park your car in the parking lot in Hampetorp). In the summer of 2026, the Summer Bus—Länstrafiken’s route 890—will also run all the way from Ånnaboda via Gustavsvik and Örebro Resecentrum out to Vinön. And back, of course.
Stora Hjortstorp Farm: A Country-Style Retreat
Stora Hjortstorp Farm in the Oset and Rynningeviken Nature Reserve (a pleasant bike ride from downtown) offers concerts with grazing cows and blooming meadows just around the corner. In the summer of 2026, performers will include Arvingarna, Greczula, and Markus Krunegård + Sara Klang. Here you’ll find an outdoor stage, scenic views, food and drinks, and a wonderful atmosphere.
Lerbäck Theater's outdoor stage
This summer, Lerbäck Theater presents a fast-paced comedy with the production *Rakt ner i fickan *. This popular British farce will be performed on the outdoor stage in Lerbäck from June 2 to August 2, 2026. Expect quick-witted dialogue, dinner during intermission, and plenty of laughter in a scenic setting.
Stadra Theater in beautiful Bergslagen
Have you seen a bunch of blue chairs and bicycles hanging high up in the birch trees along Route 244? Then you’ve passed Stadra Theater, beautifully situated by Lake Grecken. The theater stages its performances in an old whitewashed barn at Stadra’s historic manor house. This year, Stadra Theater is staging, among other works, *A Traveling Theater Troupe* by August Blanche and Anton Chekhov’s *The Seagull*.

At Skybar Svampen, 58 meters above ground level, you can enjoy a combination of great music and stunning views of Örebro. During the summer of 2026, performers will include Crash Nomada, Stiko Per Larsson, Fröken Blå, and Staffan Hellstrand.
Late Summer Concerts at Gustavsvik
In August, things will be in full swing on the big stage being set up in the Gustavsvik area. Look forward to lovely late-summer evenings with big crowds and great music. How about Thomas Stenström, The Ark, Miss Li, and Takida? Bolaget + Søte & Rare + Anis Don Demina. And Magnus Uggla, of course.
Live at Heart – a multi-stage festival
From September 2 to 5, it’s time once again for Live at Heart—the music festival, showcase festival, industry gathering, and creative hub. Opera at Skäret
The unique opera house "på Skäret" is located in Kopparberg, north of Örebro, and is a former sawmill. It is known for its crystal-clear acoustics and unusual architecture. This summer’s performance is the opera La Bohème, a story of love, friendship, and dreams. It runs from July 25 to August 23. An extra bonus, of course, is that you can take the Opera Train or Opera Bus here from a number of cities in Sweden.
Summer Concerts at Stadsträdgården
This summer, you can enjoy music in a lovely setting—and, of course, pair it with good food and drinks. We’re talking, of course, about the City Garden in Stadsparken in downtown Örebro. In the summer of 2026, for example, Niklas Strömstedt and his band will be stopping by. Expect a selection of highlights from Strömstedt’s long musical career.
