Banger Bar
Beer and hot dogs are a combination that rarely disappoints. Especially if the hot dog is a Manges specialty and the beer is enjoyed at Banger Bar. It’s Örebro’s newest addition to the pub scene, and as the name suggests, it offers a hot dog menu with many different and fun toppings. Plus, there’s live music, darts, contests, and other fun activities.
The Stable Light
"You can hear cheerful chatter everywhere. I could sit here all evening with friends," reads one of the many positive reviews of Stallyktan on TripAdvisor. The pub is like a second living room for many Örebro residents, and visitors who find their way here are happy to come back—for the atmosphere, the beer, and the food. Annika’s signature dishes, like beef bites and bookmaker toast, are mouthwatering. They also offer delicious vegetarian options and “upgrade menus” for sides and sauces.

The London Inn
The London Inn is a charming pub located on Stortorget in Örebro. With its British atmosphere, the pub offers a wide selection of draft beers, including classics such as Guinness stout and London Pride dark ale. If cocktails are more your cup of tea, there are also options like the Mojito and the Old Fashioned.
Lion Bar
Are you a fan of crispy onion rings, a good old-fashioned steak, and homemade Daim cake? Then Lion Bar is the place for you! Lion Bar is a laid-back, friendly, and affordable bar located across from the castle and just a stone’s throw from Stortorget.
The Bishops Arms
The Bishops Arms is a classic in Örebro. Since 1993, they have been serving thirsty, hungry, and social guests with great food and drinks and a wonderful atmosphere. Just a five-minute walk from the travel center, it’s easy to pop in for a drink before your train departs. The Bishops Arms is right next door to the Elite Stora Hotellet and boasts an unbeatable view of Örebro Castle. They might also have the city’s widest selection of beer—they proudly offer 250 different types of bottled beer and 26 different draft beers.
Royal Arms
Food, music, and really good beer. If those are your top three ingredients for a great night out at the pub, head to Royal Arms at Olof Palmes Torg or on Ekersgatan. The menu is a tribute to traditional Swedish home cooking, and if you’re going to eat just one dish in the “shoe city” of Örebro, it’s obviously the Royal’s “shoemaker’s box” you should try. The Royal Arms also features live music, Latin nights, and plenty of other fun activities that add color and energy to the evening.
Örebro Beer Hall
You don’t have to cross the North Sea to experience a real pub atmosphere. Örebro Ölhall, located at Järntorget, offers the cozy and authentic atmosphere you’d expect from a real pub. The focus here is on local vendors, while also offering a wide selection of beers from Swedish microbreweries and imported beers. The food is appreciated by both Örebro locals grabbing a weekday lunch and evening visitors. “Örebro Ölhall is for everyone; we focus on the social aspect and love to chat without loud music,” they write on their website.

Pitchers
Pitchers is a chain that combines a gastropub and an entertainment center under one roof. If you want to enjoy good food and drinks, go bowling, cheer on your favorite team on the big screen, or have a friendly competition with friends, this is the place to go. Upstairs is the beer bar aptly named En trappa upp. With over 100 varieties on tap, from light beer to sour beer, it’s a mecca for all beer lovers.
The Shed
Are you longing for that vacation vibe with beach time and piña coladas? Then you don’t have to go any further than the Skjulet pub on Stallbacken. Here you’ll find food with a food truck vibe and a wide, ever-changing selection of beers. The interior is inspired by Australia’s surfing paradise combined with the classic Swedish shed.
