Alfred Nobel's Mansion
It was also here that the great inventor spent his final summers. He had acquired the estate as part of the deal when he purchased AB Bofors Gullspång a few years earlier. Nearby, Nobel had a laboratory built where he conducted both gunpowder experiments and various other tests.
Today, the laboratory houses an exhibition on Nobel’s experimental work and business ventures. The manor house features exhibitions about Alfred Nobel as a person. During the summer, you can meet both him and some of his closest associates during the theatrical guided tours at the Nobel Museum. Learn more about the dramatized walking tours, opening hours, and the café on the Alfred Nobel Björkborn website.
