Published August 17, 2021 / Updated March 30, 2026
Do you enjoy being out in nature but also want to stay in luxury and comfort? Then glamping is for you. Stay close to nature and enjoy everything it has to offer during the day, then snuggle into a cozy, freshly made bed as evening falls.

Glamping is simply the best of both worlds: staying in peaceful natural surroundings while enjoying the same comforts as you would indoors. In Örebro County, there are several glamping sites for those who want to give glamping a try. Here are some recommendations.

Kloten Lakeside Camp in Bergslagen

Nestled in the heart of Bergslagen’s stunning natural landscape, you’ll find Kloten Nature Resort. The glamping site is beautifully situated next to a lake, offering the glamping tents a breathtaking view. If you book a stay at Kloten Lakeside Glamping, you can enjoy Bergslagen’s magical nature during the day, sleep in luxurious beds at night, and then wake up to the sound of birds chirping and the soothing lapping of the lake right outside your tent. After that, a magical breakfast basket and a wonderful day in nature await you. All glamping tents also come with their own canoe, so be sure to take a trip out on the lake right outside.

Glasigloo in Katrinelund

Katrinelund Gästgiveri & Sjökrog is located in a peaceful cove on the shores of Lake Hjälmaren. Here, you can enjoy the glamping experience with rustic luxury. Moored next to a dock is their glass igloo, where you can relax in a soft, warm bed while gazing out over the lake. During the winter months, you can go ice fishing from the hut, and in the summer, you can swim from your very own swim ladder. There are also several amenities, such as a kitchenette with running water and Wi-Fi. But no TV—the beautiful nature is screen enough.

Ösjönäs in Tiveden

Nestled in the enchanting forests of Tiveden lies Ösjönäs, an activity and adventure center offering accommodations to suit a wide range of tastes. If you enjoy glamping, be sure to book their safari tent with full board. Here, you’ll stay as close to the water as you can get. Right outside the tent, the lake ripples peacefully, and canoes are included in your booking. Sleep soundly in comfortable beds and wake up to new adventures in Tiveden National Park. Luxurious experiences close to nature await you here.
