An added bonus, of course, is that the city center is within easy walking and biking distance. No wonder Gustavsvik is a big favorite among families.
Sweden's biggest water park adventure
Lost City is a tropical water park featuring wild rapids, waves, and waterfalls. With jungle-covered ruins, cutting-edge technology, and a variety of sound and light effects, these water adventures create a fast-paced and exciting swimming experience for the whole family.
Here you can whiz down thrilling water slides and plunge into swirling rapids. You can relax in the wave pool and unwind in a warm, soothing hot tub. Or tag along with the little ones and explore the just-right-level-of-excitement jungle world in the kids’ area.
In Lost City, you'll find The Jungle Hut restaurant and The Jungle Café, with everything you need to keep your energy up for a whole day—or even several.

Five-star campground close to both adventure and the city center
The five-star Gustavsvik Campground is one of Sweden’s most popular campgrounds. You can stay in one of the cozy cabins or set up your trailer, RV, or tent on one of the 650 spacious campsites. Wi-Fi and a high level of service are included. At the campground and in the immediate vicinity, you’ll find everything you need for a wonderful vacation, whether you’re looking for action-packed activities or just want to truly unwind.
Adventure golf and fun activities for kids
There’s plenty of fun to be had at Gustavsvik Camping. And of course, you don’t have to stay at the campground to enjoy all the fun activities available in the area. Like adventure golf with 18 unique courses, an arcade, soccer billiards, shuffleboard, and two pump tracks for bikes and scooters. There are large green spaces and a big playground with bounce houses, electric cars, and a multi-purpose arena for soccer, basketball, and more.

Campero Restaurant is open for the summer
If you’re looking for great food and drinks, you’re welcome to visit the campground’s lovely summer restaurant. Campero is fully licensed and serves both lunch and dinner (à la carte and pizza). If you’d like to order takeout, that’s also no problem.

Concerts at Gustavsvik
Did you know that the Gustavsvik area is home to one of Örebro’s largest summer stages for live music? The summer of 2026 will feature performances by Thomas Stenström, Miss Li, Bolaget + Søte & Rare + Anis Don Demina, and Takida, among others. You can find more information on the organizer’s website, Big Mouth.

Summer Swimming at Gustavsvik
In addition to camping and water activities, Gustavsvik features a summer outdoor pool complex with heated pools, a splash pad, a water slide, and an outdoor gym. Here you’ll find the Surf Inn summer restaurant, which serves delicious burgers and fresh summer salads. Of course, there’s also coffee and pastries, plenty of ice cream, and much more. (If you’re staying at the campground, you get free admission to the summer pool.)

Relaxation area with lounge
Located in the same building as Lost City and the fitness center, Relaxen offers a cozy lounge atmosphere, great food and drinks, a hot tub, and steam and dry saunas. You can also book a massage here.
Indoor and outdoor gyms
Next to the fitness pool, those who want to keep up their workout routine will find Gustavsvik Gym, a full-scale indoor gym with strength training equipment, cardio machines, and free weights. Gustavsvik Arena is a 1,200-square-meter outdoor gym with a roof. It features strength training equipment, exercise machines, a workout container, and a challenging obstacle course.

Recreational pool and diving platform
Just next to Lost City, you'll find Gustavsvik Indoor Swimming Center, which features a 20 x 50-meter pool. It's perfect for anyone looking to swim a few laps. The facility also has diving boards at 3, 5, 7, and 10 meters.
Close to the heart of the cityfrom Gustavsvik
In the city center, just a 25-minute walk from Gustavsvik, there are plenty of restaurants, cafés, and bars. You can attend concerts, exhibitions, and performances. And if you like shopping, you’ll find both small, unique shops and well-known chains. Don’t miss the magnificent castle either. Right in the heart of town, it’s open to everyone and filled with things to see and do for all ages.
