Disc golf is also known as frisbee golf because players throw frisbees. The goal is to complete a course with as few throws as possible. Courses have between 9 and 18 holes, and you’ve completed a hole when you’ve successfully landed your frisbee in a basket. There are several disc golf courses in Örebro.
Disc golf in Hästhagen
The Hästhagen disc golf course is the oldest in Örebro. It is beautifully situated next to the Svartån River at Rosta Gärde. The course consists of 18 holes of varying lengths and some elevation changes. You can also rent disc golf discs at Hästhagen.
Disc golf in Brickeberg
The disc golf course in Brickeberg is located in the valley between Brickeberg Church and the Brickeberg residential area. The first tee is located behind Kunskapsskolan, and the course then winds its way up the fault scarp on the other side of Norrköpingsvägen.
Disc golf in Örnsköldsparken
Örnsköldsparken is located in the western part of Örebro. It features a disc golf course with short tees that’s perfect for beginners. The course has 9 holes and is centrally located in the city, so please be mindful of passersby.
Disc golf in Ölmbrotorp
The disc golf course in Ölmbrotorp is located at Dyltavallen and is operated by Axbergs IF. Park at the clubhouse and walk toward the north soccer goal to find the first of nine tees.
