Swim in indoor and outdoor pools
Örebro is home to Sweden’s largest water park, Lost City at Gustavsvik. In the summer, you can also enjoy the outdoor pools, the splash pad, and try out the Familyslide water slide.
If you're looking for more outdoor pools, head to Voxbadet or Vivallabadet. And if the weather isn't on your side, there are indoor pools like Brickebackens bad, Eyrabadet, and Hagabadet.

Discover water play near the city
If you're hanging out in town this summer, there are plenty of water-based areas offering a variety of activities. Among other things, there are several playgrounds with sand and water play areas equipped with pumps.
There are also a few water play areas—that is, places with more natural water environments suitable for play, such as frog ponds and play streams.
And last but not least, if you haven’t tried the spray park at Stadsparken yet, it’s high time you did. It’s a type of water play area without a pool, featuring water spraying from various playful showers and fountains. It’s the perfect place to play and cool off on a hot summer day in the city.
Take the kids on a day trip to the beach
Swimming pools, playgrounds, and water parks are all well and good. But if you’re looking for a summer outing with your own picnic and beach tennis, there are plenty of lovely swimming spots just a short drive outside the city center.
