Lamb
For many people, the main course of the Easter meal is "Easter lamb." Jannelund Farm in Mullhyttan sells fresh, locally raised lamb from its own flock. Order from the online store and pick it up directly at the farm.
Eggs
We also want eggs in all forms on our Easter table. Berga Skafferi in Fjugesta is a farm shop and café in the heart of the Närke Plain. In addition to their own eggs, they also offer other local delicacies such as ice cream, mustard, and jams. The egg stand is self-service and has generous opening hours.
Cheese
While you're at Berga Skafferi, be sure to pick up some delicious local cheeses as well. They're perfect for the cheese platter after the Easter buffet.
Bread
Freshly baked bread is perfect for any celebration... especially when it’s made with local ingredients! Lokal in Kumla bakes organic sourdough bread using unique varieties of flour from Örebro. Lokal’s shop also offers other local foods, such as eggs, roast lamb, and salmon.

Salmon
You’ll find truly delicious smoked salmon at Nygård’s Smokehouse on Vinön. They smoke their salmon in a wood-fired smokehouse and season it only with salt and natural spices. Their products are also available at Lännäs Farm Shop, Bolinders Farm Shop, and Jonssons Farm Shop. Nygårds also has its own farm shop near the smokehouse on Vinön it doesn’t get much fresher than that!
Something sweet
Finish off your Easter table with something sweet. Such as chocolates made by the Örebro-based companies Små praliner or Kaffe & pralin.
