Cycling in the City - Tips for Rides Around Town

Here are some tips for five bike routes in central Örebro. The shorter routes pass by Stadsparken, the Wadköping Open-Air Museum, and the marina. If you choose the longer routes, you’ll reach the Oset Nature Reserve , Rynningeviken, and the restaurant Naturens hus. No matter the length or pace, you’re sure to enjoy a wonderful experience in nature and some great exercise to boot.

• Broslingan ( 6.3 km)

• Short Osetslingan Loop (8 km)

• The Long Osetslingan Trail (10 km)

• The Rynninge Loop (15 km)

Tips for your bike ride

Properly inflated tires, water, and a helmet are a great start to a pleasant bike ride. Here are a few extra tips to make your outing even more enjoyable:

• Pack a picnic lunch, because along all the trails there are beautifully situated rest areas and rest huts—perfect for a break or two.
• Don't forget to bring your binoculars for birdwatching. The Oset Nature Reserve and Rynningeviken are protected, in part, for their rich bird life.
