“Catch of the Day” by ROA
A narwhal stretches out across the gable of the building at 8 Järnvägsgatan. Its size and expression seem slightly surreal, and the artist ROA has described his work on as follows: “The narwhal is one of the few marine mammals, a unique species because of its horn. In that sense, they are mythical sea creatures; you could say they are the unicorns of the sea.”

“Bird House” by Roadsworth
The artwork *Bird House* depicts three giant birds that have taken over an entire building facade. They have made themselves at home in a birdhouse as large as an entire floor of a building. For once, the small birds are huge—and that is exactly what the artist wants to convey. Here, the perspectives are reversed: nature takes center stage, and humans are the small ones. Bird House was unveiled in 2013 and is located in the parking lot at Stortorget.

“Inframundo” by SEGO
Inframundo is a large mural by the Mexican artist SEGO. The name is Spanish and means “the underworld” or “the realm of the dead” in English. The artwork is located on a wall at the intersection of Drottninggatan and Änggatan in central Örebro. Up close, you can see that the painting is very rich in detail and that many small images come together to form a larger whole. Murals are common in Latin America, and their development into the significant artistic expression they are today took place during the modernist era.
