Örebro Castle
No visit to Örebro is complete until you’ve stopped by the castle. The Iconic Mushroom

The Wooden District in Wadköping
In Wadköping, you can experience what life in Örebro was like in the past, while modern-day life goes on in full swing among the cobblestone streets and historic buildings. Gustavsvik and Lost City – Adventures and Activities

Sörbybacken offers activities that will get your adrenaline pumping. Ziplining, a high ropes course, and paintball—but also more laid-back activities like soccer golf. Right next to the slope is Sörens vedugn, where you can order wood-fired pizza, pasta, and other tasty treats.
Kilsbergen Nature Reserve
Kilsbergen offers extraordinary nature experiences and outdoor activities. Here you can relax, hike, bike, fish, swim, enjoy a sauna, camp, rent a cabin, paddle, and much more. By car or bus, you can get from downtown Örebro to one of the area’s entrances in just about 25 minutes.
The Kulturkvarteret Community Center
The Kulturkvarteret brings together culture in all its forms within its unique building. It houses a library, art exhibitions, creative workshops, stages for musical performances, as well as a café and restaurant. And right next door, you’ll find both the Örebro Concert Hall and the Örebro Art Gallery.
The Karlslund Tourist Attraction
Karlslund is one of Örebro’s best destinations for a day trip. It offers beautiful surroundings and walking paths, a manor house garden, shops, and fun activities for children, such as Tekniska Kvarnen and Barnens Trädgård. The Hästhagen recreational area is also located along the river that winds through the area.
The Charming Lindbacka Mill
The old mill in Lindbacka has been given a new lease on life. Its historic industrial charm remains, but today the old buildings are home to a coffee roastery, a kombucha brewery, a delicatessen, a bakery, a pottery studio, an antique shop, and several other businesses.
Beautiful City Park
In Stadsparken, just a few minutes’ walk from the castle in the heart of town, you’ll find a beautiful park setting and plenty of open space to relax in. There are plenty of flowers and greenery, of course, but also lots of other things to experience—for both young and old.
