The Children's Garden

The children’s garden at Karlslund Manor invites kids to play and have fun in the great outdoors. Be sure to stop by the manor for a nice coffee break afterward (open from May to August).

The Hagen Play Area

The Hagen play area is located in Ladugårdsängen and is connected to Västra Grönpepparparken. It is inspired by Sweden as it looked in the past, so you’ll find barns, playhouses, a tractor, and wooden animals here. The Wild Trail in Hjärsta Forest

The Wild Trail is a 2-kilometer path that winds past several exciting spots to explore. There are places along the way where you can stop to barbecue, socialize, enjoy nature, or play. The Japanese Pond, the birch grove, the delta with several streams to play in, the frog pond, and the raven’s nest are just a few of the new spots along the Wild Trail.

Saxon Park

Brickeskogen features an adventure trail with a low-rope course, ponds, and other fun activities in a forest setting. Perfect for all young explorers.

City Park and Stora Holmen

The city park’s playground is incredibly popular and attracts many families with children year-round. In the summer, the Ice Cream & Coffee café is nearby, as are several other cafés and restaurants in Wadköping. On the other side of the Svartån River lies Stora Holmen, Örebro’s very own children’s island. Year-round, there are small, charming houses in a mini-town, a playground, swings, exciting climbing areas, water play, and a Beaver Hill that inspires play in a natural setting. In the summer, there are also pedal cars, animals, and a miniature train. Stora Holmen can be reached via bridges on foot or by bike.

Tybble Park

Tybbleparken features fun play areas such as the Tarzan Jungle, a skate park, a pump track for young mountain bikers, and a kickbike track.

Varbergaskogen and Voxparken

Varbergaskogen is a popular spot for people of all ages who love fun and games. Swings, climbing structures, rope courses, balance challenges, and fairy-tale trails are just some of the activities available here. Right next door is Voxbadet, which draws visitors with its refreshing pool. Don’t forget to check out the mini-skatepark in VOX Park. Örebro Skateboard has a permanent setup with several ramps.

Vivalla Hill

Next to Vivallakullen , kids can play on the large climbing frame and go down the loooong slide. There are also several nice walking trails that lead up the hill.

The Desert Forest

Near the hill mentioned above are the play areas of Öknaskogen. Here you’ll find a low-rope course and an obstacle course, swing sets, and a stable for hobby horses.

The short walking loop around Lake Ånnabo

Here, even the youngest adventurers can join in and explore Skogsmulle’s stroller-friendly walking trail, which isfilled with fun questions and tips about nature along the way. The trail runs right alongside the water, and when you’re done, you can settle in for a barbecue or a dip in the lake.

The Playhouse in Wadköping

Wadköping isn’t just a trip back in time—it’s also a fun place for outdoor play. Here you’ll findthe Play Barn, whereyou’re welcome to try your hand at various tasks just as they were done “back in the day”—felting wool, churning butter, grinding coffee, washing clothes with a washboard and wooden beater, chopping wood, beating and scrubbing rag rugs, playing marbles, rolling barrel hoops, and much more.

The Land of Fun

Lustiga Landet is a place full of experiences, challenges, and adventures. It features obstacle courses, mazes, a pentathlon, and other fun play stations for children of all ages.
