In addition to the obvious choices— the University Library and the City Library—there are plenty of cozy cafés with free Wi-Fi where you can combine studying with treats and a pleasant atmosphere. Another hot tip is Congrego. It’s like a campus in the middle of town where you can study with a view of the Svartån River.

Örebro has always been a city of music, and live performances are a natural part of the city’s vibe. Here you can find everything from big shows at Conventum Arena to intimate gigs at the city’s smallest bar, Stå. Every September, the city’s stages are filled with hundreds of artists at the Live at Heart showcase festival, and in the summer, open-air concerts take center stage in places like Wadköping, Brunnsparken, and Humlehagen.
